If you are looking for a quiet and beautiful place to enjoy nature and country life without having to sacrifice your comfort, La Casa de Andujar will charm you. It is located in the small Castilla-La Mancha (Spain) village of Pozo-Lorente, 33 Kms. (about 20 miles) from the city of Albacete, , and within the region of La Manchuela. This house offers the elegance of a past era in a quiet and fine environment. You will not find another house as special as this one in the region.

A BIT OF HISTORY

The house was designed and built with elements of a manchego "palacete" by Don Blas Pérez-Andújar upon an old mill that belonged to his father-in-law, local benefactor Don Tomás Jiménez Almendos. Don Blas' granddaughter, entrepreneur and designer María Antonia Pérez-Andújar and her husband, american artist George Fisher Martin have renovated it, keeping its generous space and luminosity, and respecting the sobriety and elegance of its lines.

LOCATION AND DISTANCES

Pozo-Lorente is located in Southeastern Spain, about 1.5 hours by road to the Mediterranean seashore. You can get there by plane from Barcelona to Albacete Airport (1 hour flight time) or by car from Madrid or any other Spanish city. Spanish roads are wonderfully kept. Albacete's Railroad Station has a varied train schedule and soon will be featuring the High Speed Train "AVE". Currently it takes 2 hours by train to get there from Madrid. Consult with your travel agent.

50 Euros per double room and night. Optional: Special Sunday breakfast,  8 Euros per person.
